This recipe will make you never want just a plain French toast again. It's like having dessert for breakfast.
Ingredients:
Citrus or D'Luscious Lemon Olive Oil
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
2 Apples
Hawaiin sweet bread or French bread
2 Eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 T vanilla
Preparation:
Heat 3 tablespoons of Temecula Olive Oil in a pan (citrus or lemon would be good), melt half a cup of brown sugar. Pour this into the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Peel and slice two apples � lay the apples on top of the mixture. Place on top of this � 6 slices of Hawaiian sweet bread (you can use French also). Beat two eggs with one quarter cup milk, and I tsp vanilla � pour over bread. Leave overnight in refrigerator. Bake at 350º for 25 �30 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
